Where is ICTP located?
The map of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region shows how far the ICTP and Trieste is from the Ronchi dei Legionari Airport.
If you arrive in Trieste by plane, you can take the bus to Trieste (or a Taxi) and ask the driver to let you off at Grignano (pronounced greenah'no).
If you arrive in Trieste by train, you will need to reach ICTP from downtown Trieste by taxi or bus (number 6).
ICTP is 140 km from the Venice Airport, which can be reached by train.
