Education:
High School, 3-year attendance at the School for Interpreters, University of Trieste
Biography:
Mr. Visintin has been part of the ICTP Library (now renamed Marie Curie Library) since 1982. He was
responsible for the access and information services since 1989, providing
training and support to visitors and coordinating the work at the information
desk.
He was appointed Acting Head of the Library in August 2007
Responsibilities:
Manages the Marie Curie Library, its resources and budget.
Responsible for the organization of collections and quality of service;
and is in charge of developing policies, which aim at expanding the range and
accessibility of information.
Mr. Visintin's goal is to make the library useful, pleasant and easy to use for
its visitors, as well as for those who connect to its online services.
